CHEER PREP ACADEMY
A Fun, Developmental Cheer Program for Ages 6+!
Gymnastics Central's Cheer Prep Academy helps young athletes develop the skills, confidence, and teamwork needed for school cheerleading.
Our program focuses on cheer motions, jumps, tumbling, basic stunting, chants, and teamwork in a positive, supportive environment.
Whether your child is brand new to cheer or preparing for future school cheer opportunities, Cheer Prep Academy is a great place to start!
No previous cheer experience required!
JOIN OUR CHEER PREP ACADEMY!
Our seasonal Cheer Prep Academy runs January through June, with practices held on Saturdays.
Athletes ages 6+ are grouped by age and ability to ensure a safe, positive learning experience.
Program Highlights:
- Weekly practices
- Cheer motions, jumps, tumbling, and basic stunting
- Experienced coaching and a supportive team environment
- Skill assessments for appropriate group placement
- Additional tumbling class enrollment required
Tryouts are for placement, not cuts! Our goal is to give every athlete the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun.
Tryouts in December | $25 Registration Fee
Registration is available through our Parent Portal.
BUILDING SKILLS & CONFIDENCE
At Cheer Prep Academy, athletes develop the fundamentals of cheerleading in a fun, structured, and encouraging environment.
Our experienced coaches focus on proper technique, teamwork, and safety while introducing cheer motions, jumps, chants, basic stunting, and performance skills.
Whether preparing for school cheerleading or simply discovering a love for cheer, every athlete has the opportunity to learn, improve, and shine!
PREPARING FOR SCHOOL CHEER
Our Cheer Prep Academy is designed to help athletes build a strong foundation for future school cheerleading opportunities.
Unlike competitive All-Star cheer programs, our focus is on skill development, confidence, teamwork, and school spirit without the extensive travel or competition commitments.
Athletes train in age-appropriate groups with an emphasis on individual progress, positive attitudes, and having fun!
No prior cheerleading experience is necessary!
