Welcome to Gymnastics Central
COVID-19 UPDATE 3 - 03/27/2020
Dear Gym Central Families, Athletes, And Staff.
This is the end of week two of our shut down. It feels way
longer than two weeks doesn’t it? I have been to the gym to check on things and get the mail. It is dark, cold, and quiet. I am patiently waiting for the day we can safely resume
normal programming with the support of our membership. The gym has been cleaned, sanitized, and cleaned again. We
have another sanitizing and cleaning planned again before we resume normal programming. The gym will then be set so it looks great once we return to normal programming!
Our programming suspension remains in effect following the
accordance of the ODH Director’s Order Amendment limiting Mass Gatherings in the State of Ohio.
We started a “PAY AND
EARN” campaign this week. Many of you have taken advantage of the opportunity and we are so very thankful for your support during this time. Should you have an
interest or have any questions please see the email we sent out on Monday March 23rd.
Remember, unless you have responded to our “PAY AND EARN”
campaign your accounts will remain frozen and on hold. You will not be charged. Once we reopen we will assess our status and where our programming is and adjust as needed. All of
this will be communicated out prior to opening so everyone will be in the know. Continue to watch our facebook page, our webpage, and look for emails with details on this to
Recreation accounts have already been updated with three non-expiring make up tokens that you can use pending scheduling.
Normal safety rules and schedules restrictions apply. These can also be used for open gyms.
Team accounts have already been credited 50% of March’s tuition.
Team Competition Season
The Girl Gymnastics team season is done. USAG has cancelled all events schedule to the end of April including regional
championships. When we return to training, we will be preparing for the 2020-2021 season. For the T&T team season, June events are still scheduled at this time.
Gymnastics Central will continue to assess the situation day to day and provide weekly updates via e-mail, on our Facebook page,

Gymnastics Central Families,
This is an extremely challenging time for our
families, businesses, and community. We are thankful for your support and patience as we assess day to day and hour to hour, our options and best approach at dealing with COVID-19.
Dealing with this is as new to our community as it is the rest of the country. We will continue to keep you posted on our class schedules and the steps we are taking to keep our kids, staff,
and families safe.
On March 12th, Amy Acton, Director of Health
signed the Director’s Order to limit and/pr Prohibit Mass Gatherings in the the State Of Ohio. However line items 4 and 5 of that order allows our business to be excluded and
continue with our programming.
Since that order was issued we have been working
diligently to keep our already extremely clean facility sanitized, while keeping our in-house numbers below the 100 mark as recommended by the ODH. In short we have been working with in the ODH
guidelines and have made every effort to stay open while keeping our children safe.
With the new order today, and the warning of more
directed closing orders to come, Gymnastics Central will be suspending all classes and team practices effective Monday, March 16th until further
notice. We will continue to evaluate the situation day to day and send out an update at the end of the week. This week we will continue to diligently clean and disinfect
the facility and all equipment so when we return to regular operating hours, families can trust that all preventative measures have been taken. We will send
out our next communication on March 20th.
When and if we return to classes and team programs
we will be as flexible with make ups and open gyms as possible for our enrolled members.
Gymnastics Central is a small family business with
over 20 employees who live in our community. Many of these employees depend on this income to support their families. Over the last few days we have received numerous messages of support and
have heard from a few haters who do not see the entire picture of impact or economics when making a decision to close. Thank you for supporting our staff and business. I would remind you
that small businesses are the backbone of our communities and fuel our economy. During this time, please remember to shop local, and support small business.
Thank you for your support.
